Below you’ll find the details (functional and technical) for the Company Search API.
The API works by passing in one or more search filters as input, and it enables the discovery of companies based on name, website, locations, business category, headcount and revenue, as well as relevant business tags for the company (e.g. “financial operations”).
The API also provides access to manufacturers and distributors of products and service providers via a specialized and flexible filter built to accommodate complex search use-cases.
Table of contents:
The user passes in one or more search filters as input and receives a list of companies, together with the total results count and pagination information.
The API requires at least one filter as input. Please see below the full list of available search filters:
There is no limit on the number of search filters that can be passed to the API.
Important note:
The relation between filters is “AND”, in practice this means that even though there is no limit on how many filters can be applied, if duplicating a filter you need to make sure you are not providing conflicting information.
For example, passing in 2 separate location filters and specifying different headquarters for each of them. In this case, the API will not return any results.
